ABOUT THE VENTUM GS1 GRAVEL BIKE FRAMESET

Inspired by our NS1 road bike and tweaked to inspire confidence on variable terrain, the Ventum GS1 gravel bike is a blend of road speed dipped in gravel capability. It’s fast, but stable; snappy, but predictable. It’s a bike with one foot in two worlds — a wonderful balance that’ll take you there and back, but faster. It might just be the only bike you need.

Each Ventum bike begins life at our facility in Heber City, Utah, at the doorstep of some of the best riding this side of… anywhere. 

No matter the build, any bike we send out into the world is first built, checked, and thoroughly tuned by a professional mechanic. With a bill of good health, it’s then repackaged into a specially-made ride-ready box designed to transport the bike to the rider with as little disassembly as possible. In the end, all you need to do is attach the front wheel, insert the seat post, and dial in your fit.

The GS1’s geometry is something we hold near and dear to our hearts at Ventum. Adored by our pro riders and obsessed over by our engineers, it’s quick in corners yet wonderfully predictable and stable at high speeds over variable terrain. 

 

We describe the bike as “confidently quick.” Ride it, and you’ll know what we mean.

In gravel, bigger is better. The GS1 is designed to accomidate up to 700x48c tires with mud clearance to spare. Float on chunk, surf through mud — do it all faster than everyone else.

“There is nothing I would rather use to sail the gravel seas of eastern Nebraska than my GS1 (except for maybe a tandem). Its smooth comfort allowed me to carry my speed and momentum over the tops of every one of the endless rollers on the Gravel Worlds course. I was able to open gaps through the loose corners all day long, thanks to the bike’s stability and nimble handling, and there’s just no arguing with a 22 mph average speed over 150 miles, with 11,000 feet of elevation gain, on a course that’s 98% gravel, on my way to 2nd place out of a very talented pro field."

Ordering, Shipping, Warranty, & Returns

Lead time varies depending on the build specs and component availability. Please reach out to support@ventumracing.com for more information.

For Standard shipping in the continental US, Ventum uses a custom, oversized bike box and the bike will arrive 98% assembled. You simply need to install the wheels and seatpost and you’ll be ready to ride. A torque wrench is required.

For bikes shipped outside of the continental US, the bike will arrive 85% assembled. Upon delivery, you will need to install the wheels, seatpost, and the stem onto the steerer tube.

Financing & Trade-Ups

Submit your bike directly to The Pro’s Closet, and share their offer with support@ventumracing.com. The trade-up value will be deducted from your order total. We’ll need to email you a custom invoice, so don’t order online before speaking with Ventum Support. The trade-up bike will need to be shipped to The Pro’s Closet within 2 weeks–we supply the shipping label.

Ventum One Disc - 28mm max (700x28C)

NS1 - Tires measuring up to 35mm in width (700x35C)

GS1 - Tires measuring up to 48mm in width (700x48C) *The GS1 can run 650b wheels, with tires measuring up to 51 mm in width

NS1 and Ventum One Disc builds will be set up tubeless when upgraded to carbon wheelsets. Alloy wheels are setup with inner tubes and clincher tires.

All GS1 builds will be set up tubeless regardless of the wheelset.
